Join us for a hands-on folk magic workshop where you will create and charge your own protection poppet. Rooted in traditional sympathetic magic, poppets have long been used as guardians for the self and the home. In this class, you’ll learn the history and symbolism behind poppet craft, explore protective correspondences, and intentionally sew and stuff your poppet with herbs, petitions, and personal focus.
Angela will guide you through a ritual charging process so your creation becomes more than cloth and thread — it becomes a ward. You’ll leave with a completed protection poppet and the knowledge to continue working with this form of magic on your own. Beginner friendly. All materials provided. You are more than welcome to bring any small mementos to put in your poppet as well.
