Sew What: Make a String Bag - Free - Open to the Public
This class results in a small but sturdy backpack with one exterior or interior pocket, and grosgrain ribbon straps.

Skillset: applying an exterior pocket or adding a zipper for an interior pocket; securing seams; making a buttonhole and attaching a button.
Supplies: Sturdy (denim, cotton or cotton-blend canvas -1/2 yard or 1 yard depending on the direction of the printI) and matching thread, large button or 6” zipper, 6 feet of matching grosgrain ribbon, 1/3 yard of matching fabric for exterior pocket, if desired.

We have some of these materials, but to be sure you get a color/design you like, you will need to purchase your own and wash and machine dry before coming.
