Session 1: students will learn the recipe to make metal clay and how to mix it. They will be introduced to the tools they will use and how to work with the clay to get the best results. The teacher will talk about designs for jewelry and where to look for ideas. Student will mix their clay and make their own pieces. Teacher will dry and fire the clay pieces before second session.
Session 2: students will be taught how to finish their pieces by hand and also with a Drexel type tool. Students will finish their pieces and be given the opportunity to patina their pieces if they wish.
